Erick Burdette is a Composer and Musician that is best known as a bassist specializing in Funk, Rock, Jazz, Fusion, Metal and R&B style music. Erick has collaborated and performed with Geno Washington & the Ram Jam Band (considered to be England’s James Brown), Himalaya, Jefferey Suttles, Morris Beeks, Felony, Reeves Nevo & The Cinch (Fast Times at Ridgemont High), Little Richard, Andrae' Crouch, Joey Sommerville, Ali Woodson (of The Temptations), James Zollar, Larry Nash, Freddy Fox, Evelyn "Champagne" King, Vesta, Laurena Wilkerson and Wali Ali just to name a few. He has released ‘A Peaceful Chaotic Dream’ in 2013 and is about release a new album in November of 2021. He is also a Second-Degree Black Belt with the Black Karate Federation (The BKF), Web Developer, Film Editor, Audio Engineer, Game Developer, worked in Video and Film production as a Music Licensing agent, Casting Director and DIT Loader, IT Tech support agent, Community Representative for LAUSD and Warehouse Manager. Erick has appeared in the movie "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" and a short filmed called "When Kids Say Goodbye", a television show called "John Saxon Dojo" and a FOX.com web series called "Late Night Fox Show as "Bert Wendell". He's worked with companies like CBS Interactive, Fox Broadcasting Company, DEN> Digital Entertainment Network, AT&T WorldNet, Tip Top Entertainment and Music Maestro. He started his first band with a group of neighborhood friends called “The Mighty MTB’s” In 1974 and has never stop playing. Erick is now in the process of starting his own media company that will release past and current music, create, help, and support new artist; his services will also include web development, web hosting, IT services, game development and more.
